Orihime has been ignored and an under-rated character for long enough. It’s high time that she gets the appreciation she deserves, mostly because she is an extremely overpowered character. On closer observation of her powers, it is easy to determine that she can wipe the floor with most anime protagonists.

Orihime might reject Gojo’s Infinity in a matter of seconds

Orihime debuted as a sweet girl who was just happy tagging along with Ichigo on missions. But as the series progressed, her spiritual powers were awoken and towards the finale of Bleach, she is powerful enough to take on a few of the Gotei 13. Her main power is the Shun Shun Rikka, through which she can reject phenomena by simply denying or undoing events in different forms. She can use this power for attack and defense, with healing being an additional benefit.

Her offensive technique, the Koten Zanshun, is extremely powerful. It can reject the fusion of matter and split it like a slice of cake. The incantation summons Tsubaki, who breaks through the enemy and puts up a shield inside while repelling the combined substance. This results in the enemy splitting into two. Tsubaki can cut through almost anything but it’s only Orihime’s dislike of combat that holds her power back.

Satoru Gojo, on the other hand, uses several techniques like Limitless and Infinity in battles. But no matter how powerful his abilities are or how strong he gets, Orihime can simply reject the phenomena in front of her and slice Gojo in half by using Koten Zanshun. She can remove Gojo and his powers from existence if she simply wishes for it.

Orihime is often looked down upon as a meek character who can’t fight when the reality is completely different. Orihime isn’t just a healer who needs to be protected. In fact, healing is just a side effect of her real ability. When Orihime heals anyone, she doesn’t patch things up; she actually returns things to their former complete self.

It is a power that trespasses into the territory of God. During the Thousand Year Blood War arc, Orihime is also able to block the strikes of Yhwach, the Quincy King himself, who was constantly flogging Ichigo and the others.

Gojo might be powerful, but it has already been proved that he can be defeated. With Orihime’s God-level talent as his opponent, Gojo might not be able to get out of the battle alive (considering the sweet woman would actually want to hurt him). All Orihime has to do is reject the damages caused by Gojo as well as his cursed techniques before launching Tsubaki to split him in half
