50 Cent insists he’s NOT on Ozempic while revealing 40lbs weight loss

Rapper 50 Cent has spoken out after fans speculated that he had used slimming drug Ozempic to lose weight. The star has lost 40lbs in eight months ahead of his Final Lap tour

50 Cent, the famous rapper, has denied using the slimming drug Ozempic for his weight loss. He revealed on Instagram that he lost 40lbs by working out and performing on his recent world tour. The star addressed rumors about his weight loss to his 30.8 million followers, saying: “You want to talk about weight loss, I was in the gym, I was working the f*** out man.

He continued: “They’re gonna says it’s Ozempic; I was running, I was running, I was doing what I had to do, you’ve seen me on tour, I run around. I was 253 pounds, I’ve came down, I’m 210 right now – tell me how you feel about it; you tell me how you feel about it later.” A source told Page Six that 50’s weight loss was due to a “rigorous” eight-month fitness kick where he hit the gym “three hours a day, every day.” He wanted to get fit for his Final Lap tour which started in July last year.

The Candy Shop rapper was previously teased on social media about his weight after he performed at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show. He was joined by other rap legends like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.

As 50 began his performance he hung upside down in a throwback to the video for his 2003 hit In Da Club where he wore a white vest and hung as he rapped the lyrics to the hit. However some social media users upon seeing the legendary performance felt 50 Cent looked as if he had gained weight and commented on it online.
