Eminem’s regret over leaked diss lyrics aimed at Diddy’s Revolt Media spills into candid confessions about a heated moment gone too far.

Eminem broke his silence over his leaked lyrics dissing Diddy’s media company Revolt on Wednesday.

Earlier this week, the alternate verse from the 51-year-old’s track Bang with Conway The Machine‘s song were released.

 

While he first praised Puff Daddy, he goes on to rap, ‘F*ck Revolt / Y’all are like a f*cked up remote / Now I get it why our button’s broke.’

The diss spurred outcry from Revolt, who called the Lose Yourself hitmaker a ‘guest in Black culture’ in a statement to Billboard.

 

‘REVOLT is a BLACK media company, owned by a Black entrepreneur, with a majority Black team – that is authentic and real,’ the organization pointed out.

Amid the Black Lives Matter protests, Revolt has been actively using their platform to focus on social justice and equality.

They pointed out: ‘Eminem trying to come for us is an unneeded distraction. It is not OK.’

In response, Eminem agreed the leaked lyrics were an ‘unnecessary distraction’ and something he ‘never meant’ to be heard.

‘I was heated in the moment and thought better of it and decided to pull it back,’ he explained. ‘Stuff that I never intended to release continues to leak from the huge WeTransfer hack.’

‘I don’t have any issues with Revolt…I’d actually welcome the opportunity to work with them on some positive things and turn this in a different direction,’ the father-of-three.

Prior to releasing his statement, Revolt took to Instagram with an explicit message.

‘F*ck you too Eminem,’ the company fired with the caption, ‘Now back to our movement.
