According to Front Office Sports, however, the women’s basketball’s elite division could lose one of its prized assets in January.

Unrivaled is preparing a massive offer with a salary worth seven figures for the point guard to play in the US-based three-on-three women’s basketball league’s inaugural season.

The same source claims Unrivaled’s bid will also include revenue and equity sharing incentives.

That would see Clark’s salary go through the roof as she is currently on $76,535 in the WNBA.

The Indiana Fever star would also be joining fellow WNBA stars, including Angel Reese, Brittney Griner and Kelsey Plum.

That means Clark and Reese’s rivalry would continue after setting the women’s division on fire this term.

The star pair’s rivalry has grown ever since their college days at Iowa and LSU.

That led to Clark and Reese instantly cementing themselves as the two best rookies in the WNBA this year.

This comes amid an ongoing feud between players and the WNBA over salary concerns.

The players’ union opted out of its collective bargaining agreement with the league as players are seeking higher salaries after the most successful season.

That led to rumours suggesting Clark and other stars would join a strike asking for better wages.

Nevertheless, the Iowa ace expressed her optimism about the WNBA’s future while speaking at a Nike event on Monday.
