FRED SIRIEIX has been a regular on television screens for years, sharing his wise words about love while working as the maitre d’ at the First Dates restaurant.

The Channel 4 star entered the jungle as a campmate on the 2023 series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here and has left fans curious about his personal life due to his appearance on the reality TV show.

Is Fred Sirieix married?

Fred Sirieix is engaged but not yet married, as of December 2023.

The First Dates and First Dates Hotel star confirmed his engagement to his partner, who is known only as Fruitcake, in March 2020.

Fred had first announced his relationship with Fruitcake – whose real name has never been revealed – in January 2018.

The couple have since appeared on screen together as they joined the cast of Celebrity Gogglebox in May 2022.

Fred and Fruitcake were initially due to get married in 2021, but have had to delay the celebrations due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Sun reported in early 2022 that the lovebirds were planning a Jamaican wedding but they are yet to tie the knot.

According to Fred, who spoke about his plans to wed Fruitcake in the I’m a Celebrity jungle, their nuptials will take place in 2024.

After her fiance’s admission, Fruitcake told The Sun she was shocked that Sirieix had revealed their plans so publicly.

She said: “I was shocked and there was some people saying when are the invites coming out?”

Has Fred Sirieix been married before?

Fred is very private about his own love life and his general life before fame.

He does not share lots of personal details with fans but, back in 2016, the Frenchman did reveal that he had never been married before.

The star, who is known for his road trips with Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Campo, explained that the closest thing to marriage he has had was his 12-year relationship with a woman simply known as Alex.

It has since been reported the woman he was referring to was Alex Spendolini, the mother of his two children.

Does Fred Sirieix have children?

Fred has two children with his previous partner Alex; daughter Andrea and son Lucien.

Andrea is a professional diver who in 2020 claimed the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.

She made her Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 games as part of Team GB’s 12-person diving squad, coming seventh in the 10m platform event.

Sirieix’s daughter has also won at the FINA Diving Grand Prix in the 10m platform event, and came second in the European Aquatics Championships mixed synchronised event in 2021.

Her brother, Lucien, is five years younger than her and has stayed more out of the spotlight.

No doubt both of Fred’s children will have been watching his stint on I’m a Celebrity, where he is starring alongside politician Nigel Farage, Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard, and YouTube star Nella Rose.

Siriex and Rose have had a number of arguments in camp since they both joined the Ant and Dec hosted show.

Just days after entering camp, influencer Nella was seen telling off Fred over a comment about his age.

The argument sparked a huge reaction in viewers, with many finding the scenes uncomfortable to watch.

What has Fred said about his partner Fruitcake?

Fred has previously revealed that it was love at first sight for him and Fruitcake.

He said of their first meeting: “I was walking down the street, and we just started talking and went for a drink together – and that was that.

“We were just in the right place. There was a kiss at the end, too.”

Although he doesn’t share much about their relationship, the love that the couple have for each other is obvious when they appear together on Celebrity Gogglebox.

The pair are certainly fond of a romantic getaway and pictures of the couple enjoying their holidays are often posted on Fred’s social media accounts.
