Both Michael and actor Cote de Pablo are reprising their NCIS characters, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, for their new show and fans can’t wait.

To celebrate the new spin-off, Michael posted a picture with his co-star, and wrote: “From the set of #ncis: tony&ziva.

“It’s all about the camels. Magician and writer extraordinaire @johnthemcnamara crafts our new story and wonders await…”

Admiring the picture, fans rushed to comment on how “good” the actor looked, and how “slim.”

One wrote, “Wow! looking good! This series is going to be great!”

While this one said, “How did you lose so much weight? You look great! Can’t wait for this new series!”

This one added, “You both look timeless!”

Another gushed, “You look super slim, hot stuff!”

WEIGHT LOSS

Michael has previously opened up about how he gained weight and even hit the 250-pound mark.

He said he realized he needed a lifestyle change when he ripped his fifth pair of pants in NCIS Season 11.

Speaking about his eating habits, he told People, “I had two very small children (at the time)… That means I had been living with a pregnant lady for a long time.

“While my wife never gave in too much to her Nutella craving, we weren’t doing too much.”

The actor also added that while filming NCIS, he was on set for long hours and the available snacks proved too “tempting” for him.

“This is not an excuse, but the craft-service table is not filled with a lot of super healthy options,” he told the outlet.

“Then you get to working late, there’s pizza and Chinese food,” he said.

“I just tended to sit at the trough and continue to graze.”

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Michael revealed how he turned his life around and now embraces a healthy lifestyle.

Speaking about his diet, he told People: “No food that comes from a package like potato chips.

“I stayed away from pasta, rice, bread, potatoes anything that’s fun to eat, I did not eat.”

The TV star also said he cut down on alcohol during his weight loss journey.

NCIS COMEBACK

Michael starred on the long-running original NCIS until Season 13 and earlier this year returned for a cameo in a special tribute episode to Ducky, after the death of actor, David McCallum.

Throughout the series, fans fell in love with the relationship and eventual romance between agents Tony and Ziva.

After a faked death, crazy missions, a daughter together, and time away from the team, Tony and Ziva are now raising their child, Tali, in Europe.

That’s where the new series, titled NCIS: Tony & Ziva, will pick up when it debuts.

In a TikTok Q&A Michael said of the new show, “It’s 10 episodes of one long story… it’s like a 10-hour movie.”

He went on, “Limited series is what they call it, I guess, but it really allows you to explore the character arc with each episode being a reset.

“I think [it] is going to bring a lot more depth to the characterization and to the relationships and we’re going to be able to do not as much recaps and exposition.”

NCIS: Tony & Ziva is set to air in 2025.
