On Monday, Whoopi, 68, told Kelly, 42, that she weighed 300 pounds while filming the 2023 drama Till.
Since then, she revealed on the US daytime TV show that the Hollywood actress lost the weight of “almost two people.”
With the help of Mounjaro, Whoopi has lost more than 60 pounds.
Monjaro, also known as tirzepatide, is an injection given to those who have type 2 diabetes as well as helping people lose weight – very similar to Ozempic.

Till, which tells the story of Mamie Till-Mobley and her fight for her son, was released in theaters on January 6, 2023.
However, the movie premiered months earlier in October 2022 at the New York Film Festival.
Days after the premiere, Whoopi called out an online troll who thought Whoopi was wearing a fat suit in the movie on The View.
She confirmed that she wasn’t wearing one and that was her true self.
The movie star said, “I don’t really care about how you felt about the movie, but you should know that was not a fat suit, that was me.

Later that year in December, Whoopi made an appearance in Oprah Winfrey’s special Shame, Blame, and the Weight Loss Revolution.
There, she revealed that Mounjaro was the drug she was losing to help lose weight.

In October 2022, Whoopi called out someone online for asking her if she wore a fat suit in the drama film Till.
“I don’t really care about how you felt about the movie, but you should know that was not a fat suit, that was me,” she said on The View at the time.
In December 2023, she said she was taking Mounjaro.
“My weight has come and gone, and up and down, but it’s never been an issue for me because I don’t listen to what other people say about me so it has never been a problem,” the EGOT winner said.
At the beginning of January 2024, fans expressed on social media how “refreshed” and “healthy” Whoopi looked during an episode of her talk show.
Months later in March, she spoke more on her experience with Mounjaro, ” will tell you, I weighed almost 300 lbs when I made Till.”
Most recently in an interview with Kelly Clarkson, Whoopi said that the drug is “really good” for her and that she didn’t notice anything about her weight before the fat suit comment was brought up.

In early January, fans praised Whoopi after they noticed how “refreshed” she looked.
Her figure was on full display with her dreadlocks tied up into a ponytail.
She wore a black hoodie, but viewers could still see that she looked slimmer.

In March, Whoopi spoke more about Mounjaro on her talk show.
The Sister Act star said, “I will tell you, I weighed almost 300 lbs when I made Till, and I had taken all those steroids, I was on all this stuff.
One of the things that helped me drop the weight is Mounjaro. That’s what I use.”
“I have been waiting for Whoopi to stay what she was doing to lose the weight. When the season started it was noticable even through her wearing oversized baggy clothes,” one fan noted after watching the episode.
‘THE LAST THING YOU’RE THINKING ABOUT’
During her time on Kelly’s show on Monday, the two shared similar experiences while losing weight.
Whoopi revealed that the medication has been “really good” for her.
She also brought up the fat suit comment and before she addressed it, she didn’t think a lot about her weight.
“You’re living your life and you’re doing what you need to do and that’s the last thing you’re thinking about,” the movie star explained.
