We know that these two are more than just teammates, as Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has become a great friend of his tight end Tarvis Kelce through the years. They not only play football together; they frequently hang out and also play another sport.

Mahomes and Kelce really like to hit the links, as they normally play golf when they are no on the gridiron and of course that they have to play in style. The Chiefs signal caller recently celebrated his 29th birthday and his favorite target on the team went all out with his gift.

Both players and the rest of the team celebrated on Sunday night and Kelce made Mahomes feel like the best birthday boy ever. After many speculation, Mahomes revealed what was the gift. “Travis got me a Louis Vuitton golf bag so that is gonna be sweet,” Mahomes said on “The Drive” podcast Tuesday.

This gift has everyone talking and rightfully so as it was a very expensive gift. “I don’t know how much I can use that on the golf course but it will be nice to have,” Patrick Mahomes added on the podcast.

Of course, that the quarterback di not say the exact amount that his friend and teammate spent, but according to market price, the designer bags range from $22,600 to $31,500.

There is no question that Travis Kelce could afford this and more, as his net worth has increased considerably as reports indicate that the amount is north of $100 million and all thanks to the most recent extension he signed, so he can afford more gifts to give to his friends.
