The Ole Rebels are 8-2 after beating Georgia 28-10 at home on Saturday.
Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart led the offense to 397 total yards as the senior completed 13-of-22 passes for 199 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also led the team with 50 rushing yards on eight carries.
Fans ended up rushing the field twice since they did it 16 seconds too early and had to get back into the stands.
Aside from that, one cheerleader stole the show on the night.
Mary Ella, an Ole Miss cheerleader, celebrated the upset win on her Instagram page.
“TAILS TUCKED FINS🆙!!!🦈🦈🦈🦈,” she wrote.
In her carousel of pictures, she could be seen posing on a guy’s shoulder and posing with her teammates.
Mary Ella has just over 3,000 followers on the popular social media site.
The victory on Saturday was massive for Kiffin and company, who had gone 3-7 in their last ten games against ranked teams.
Will The Ole Miss Rebels Make The College Football Playoffs?
Will Ole Miss be in the playoff field when the second set of rankings is released on Tuesday night?
They certainly put in their best victory over the weekend after they took down the Georgia Bulldogs.
Pandemonium ensued after the No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels dominantly defeated the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday night, and it has thrown everything into question as we approach the final few games of the 2024 college season.
Ole Miss was at No. 16 in the first set of rankings and should move up considerably on Tuesday.
Was it good enough to get them high enough to knock Georgia from the 12-team field?
We shall see.
