After a drama-filled season, the WNBA playoffs are set to get underway on Sunday. It was a race to the finish line for several teams as the regular season came to a close, with the Atlanta DreamWashington Mystics and Chicago Sky fighting for the final spot. Many expected the Indiana Fever to be on the bubble along with those teams, but Caitlin Clark and co. had a great stretch of performances following the All-Star and Olympic break.

The Fever, as the 6th seed, will try to get past the Connecticut Sun and advance further in Clark’s rookie year. Clark has delivered on her otherworldly hype, raising up the team with help from standouts Kelsey MitchellAliyah Boston and NaLyssa Smith. One would expect the players to be nervous ahead of what will be the postseason debuts for many of them, but that doesn’t appear to be the case at all.

The Fever shared a behind-the-scenes video of the team going through practice on the day before their first game against the Sun. The players were all smiles as they boarded the bus, laced up their shoes and went through a somewhat light practice.

The team has developed a calm and collected nature, particularly since returning from the summer break. The Fever won only two of their first 11 games this season. They won seven out of eight games when play resumed following the Olympics, and then took it easy over the final stretch as their playoff spot was locked up.
