Adrian Peterson is in some legal hot water, with authorities in Fort Bend County, Texas, issuing warrants in his name.
According to USA Today, the warrants are out as a result of the former NFL MVP failing to appear in court for two separate child support cases.
“The current legal case is related to a misunderstanding regarding Adrian’s court appearances as it relates to child support, and he is actively working with his legal team to resolve this matter as quickly as possible,” Peterson’s publicist Denise White told the publication.
“He is committed to clearing up this situation and moving forward positively.”

Football fans are in awe over a viral video of Adrian Peterson’s son putting on an AP-like performance in a youth football game.
The 39-year-old Adrian Peterson played his final NFL season in 2021, spent with the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks. Widely regarded as the best running back of his generation, AP won three rushing titles and took home MVP and Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2012.
Peterson’s playing career may be over, but his eight-year-old son just might follow his footsteps into the pros someday. Footage of his son, Axyl, dominating in youth football has gone viral on social media.
And let’s just say that Axyl has the moves of his father:

Obviously, we’ll have to wait more than a dozen years to see if Axyl turns professional like Adrian Peterson. But you can’t teach all-world athleticism at that age, so Axyl is already off to a good start in the quest to become a second-generation NFL player.
Peterson retired with 14,918 yards and 120 touchdowns over his 15 NFL seasons.

This is Adrian Peterson’s third year of retirement, so he’ll be eligible for a call to Canton in 2027. Without a doubt, the Minnesota Vikings legend will receive a gold jacket in his first year of eligiblity.
