Travis Kelce’s BFF Makes His Opinion On Taylor Swift Very Clear

As the relationship between Travis Kelce and music icon Taylor Swift continues to stay close, one of Kelce’s best friends has given his thoughts on the relationship between the two.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Kelce’s longtime friend Aric Jones spoke about his relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, which dates back to when they were preschoolers. Jones now runs the Homebred Legends clothing line, which Kelce has been happy to wear publicly to support the brand. Since Swift started making her presence known at Chiefs games, Jones has also been seen standing side-by-side with her. Naturally, PEOPLE asked if Swift has received an of his Homebred merch.

Jones stated that Swift certainly has, but not just because she’s famous but because he sees her as “family” now.

“She has stuff, of course. Why wouldn’t she? That’s family. Once you’re in the family, you’re fully engraved in this anyway,” Jones said. “So it’s like, why not do that for the people that you care the most about? It’s an honor.”

Jones is far from the first member of the Kelce family to start treating Swift like she’s part of the family. Just about everyone from Travis’ brother to his mother to his father has sung her praises publicly (no pun intended).

We can never predict how a relationship will go, so it’s still too early to start ringing wedding bells. But from everything we’ve heard, there doesn’t appear to be anything stopping the two from continuing to stay close.
