REPORT: Research Shows That Taylor Swift Is Proving To Be A Massive Jinx To One Surprise AFC Team That’s Not The Kansas City Chiefs

Some compelling new data shows that Taylor Swift somehow foreshadows the win-loss results of one of the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC rivals.

Taylor Swift has been in a highly publicized relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for more than a year. She attended 13 Chiefs games last year, including all four postseason games, and has made four of their first six contests in 2024.

Interestingly, Swift’s status for the Chiefs games has somehow foreshadowed the outcome of Indianapolis Colts games this season. Whether you’re superstitious or not, the data doesn’t lie.

Speaking to WTHR in Indianapolis, elementary school teachers Erin Bangel and Stefanie Husenjovic shared the graphs they use to compare Swift’s status for Chiefs contests with Colts games.

Bangel then noticed the compelling trend with Swift’s status and Colts games:

“We’ve seen a big trend in data. If Taylor goes to a Chiefs game, the Colts lose,” Bangel told WTHR. “If she doesn’t go, the Colts win.”

Don’t believe her? The Colts dropped their first two games of 2024, while Swift attended the Chiefs’ victories in Weeks 1 and 2. She missed Kansas City’s next two games, and the Colts bounced back with consecutive victories.

Indy lost to Jacksonville in Week 5, when Swift watched the Chiefs defeat the New Orleans Saints at home on “Monday Night Football.”

Indy lost to Jacksonville in Week 5, when Swift watched the Chiefs defeat the New Orleans Saints at home on “Monday Night Football.” Kansas City was on bye in Week 6, when the Colts defeated the Tennessee Titans 20-17.

Swift couldn’t attend the Chiefs’ Week 7 road game against the San Francisco 49ers this week. So naturally, the Colts defeated the Miami Dolphins 16-10 this season to move above .500 for the first time this season.

Taylor Swift Won’t Be At Chiefs Game vs. Raiders

Swift will be performing at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday, so she won’t be able to watch the Chiefs’ Week 8 road game against the Las Vegas Raiders. So if you’re a superstitious Colts fan, you’re probably penciling them in for a win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Unfortunately, the Colts and Chiefs don’t play each other this season, so we cannot learn how the trend would go if they faced off. Then again, the current trend can’t possibly hold up for an entire season, can it?

“We’ve seen a big trend in data. If Taylor goes to a Chiefs game, the Colts lose,” Bangel told WTHR. “If she doesn’t go, the Colts win.”
