Daniel Jones was released by the New York Giants this Friday after an embarrassing sequence of events, and it appears he’s set to join another NFC team.
The quarterback reportedly asked to be released by the team after being demoted to the third-string quarterback but taking reps at fourth-string before being deployed as a safety in training.
Jones curiously appeared on the Dallas Cowboys’ official website as a quarterback about an hour after he was cut.

The link has since been deleted, but it suggests he could end up in Dallas. The Cowboys are in desperate need of a quarterback following Dak Prescott’s season-ending injury and could be the perfect team for Jones to make an attempt at resurrecting his career.
Cooper Rush hasn’t exactly set the city alight, having stepped in as the starter, while America’s Team doesn’t appear to have any confidence in Trey Lance.
Daniel Jones’ Contract Makes Him An Unattractive Prospect
Of course, the team’s 2-8 record had plenty to do with it.
Jones, who has been the Giants’ starting quarterback for the better part of the last six seasons, threw eight touchdown passes and seven interceptions before the decision in New York.
The Giants have decided to move forward with Tommy DeVito as the starter for now. Jones, meanwhile, will be placed on waivers.
Will the Cowboys be claiming him with such a contract after making Dak Prescott the highest-paid player in the NFL?
The signs indeed point to that.

A new set of photos of her showing her assets off has popped up online ahead of the weekend, with one of the accounts posting asking, “Are you a hockey fan?”
