Fans were frightened for Jayden Daniels.

On Sunday, the Washington Commander rookie took off running out of the pocket when two New York Giants defenders met him.

Daniels took a massive hit as he got slammed to the ground.

Medical staff had to come out and see about him as he would not get off he ground for some time.

Eventually, Jayden Daniels would get off the ground and appear to be okay. He would even remain in the game.

Commanders Want Jayden Daniels to ‘Remain A Passer’ After Running 16 Times In His NFL Debut

Daniels has spent his life as a quarterback, developing a feel for when to take off and run.

Daniels ran the ball 16 times in his NFL debut, rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns in the Washington Commanders’ season-opening loss at Tampa Bay.

As seen today, running can get you hurt.

The coaching staff would like to see their rookie quarterback tone that down.

“We’d love to see him remain a passer first, and I think it’s going to come with more experience,” coach Dan Quinn said.

“(Sixteen) carries is not the model that we’re looking for. … I do think we’ll continue to grow in that spot, but (it is) certainly not by design to have that many.”

Jayden Daniels, the No. 2 pick out of LSU after winning the Heisman Trophy last season as the best player in college football, is one of the top prospects in the league.

Kevin Durant has wrapped up the Paris Olympics in remarkable fashion, becoming the only player in history to win four gold medals in men’s basketball. After returning from injury to lead Team USA, Durant’s performance has fueled high expectations for the Phoenix Suns in the upcoming NBA season.

Amid this success, Durant’s time with the Golden State Warriors has come back into focus, especially through the words of his mother, Wanda Durant. Wanda recently boldly stated that if Team USA’s top scorer had stayed with the Warriors team, they could have dominated the league for years.

We would’ve had 20 rings by now. And it was about 10 years ago. That’s how cold they were,” Wanda said on the latest episode of TV One’s “Raising Fame.

Durant joined the Warriors in 2016 and quickly made an impact, leading the team to two consecutive championships in 2017 and 2018. However, after the 2018 season, Durant left Golden State and signed with the Brooklyn Nets. He departed after a difficult 2019 NBA Finals, where he suffered a ruptured Achilles while playing against the Toronto Raptors.
