You would think Davante Adams would be on cloud nine after the team secured their first victory over the Baltimore Ravens, but it does not seem to be that way.
Gardner Minshew led his team to 13 unanswered points in the fourth quarter and a surprise 26-23 win over Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens.
Days later and, it appears Davante Adams has something else on his mind.
On Thursday, Davante Adams took to his Instagram Story to post a photo of himself holding a helmet. He added a one-word caption: “Maybe.”
Fans were left guessing and pitching after Adams’ peculiar post.
Here are some were trying to decipher his message:
Adams had a dominant performance on Sunday. He totaled over 100 receiving yards and a touchdown against the Ravens. This was a much better stat line than what he did in Week One when he had 59 yards for the Raiders.
Minshew finished the game 30-of-38 for 276 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
Davante Adams Previously Revealed True Feelings About Playing With Aaron Rodgers
Davante Adams’ being in the news again is not shocking, as he was in the news plenty this offseason, and many thought he was ready to leave the Raiders.
Over the offseason, Adams addressed swirling rumors about a potential reunion with his former Green Bay Packers quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.
Adams appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, where he spoke on the trade rumors linking him to the New York Jets.
“I’m actively on the Raiders. What do I look like sitting here talking to other people about being on another team? And that’s how I still feel about it right now,” Adams stated.
“I’m locked in with the Raiders, and I really feel good about this team, and as far as I know, they feel good about me.”
Whether he still feels that way has now been put into question thanks to his most recent Instagram post.
Adams is in the third year of his five-year, $140 million contract with the Raiders.
