It is hard to be a Los Angeles Clippers fan this year. Hoping to see a basketball masterclass from Kawhi Leonard, the fans have only been left disappointed. Without featuring in a single game this season, Leonard is being ruled out indefinitely due to his knee injury. However, this is not his only instance of missing games.

Playing in his sixth season for the Clippers, the two-time NBA Final MVP has always been on and off the court. To give a context, the Clippers have played 390 regular-season games in the last six years. Unfortunately, Leonard has only played in 229 of them. Painting a sorry picture, the concerns around Kawhi Leonard are escalating rapidly.

However, despite his absence from on-court action, Leonard continues to grab the headlines. As part of Halloween, the Clippers had a fun game for its athletes. The players were asked to grab a handful of candy corn from a bowl. Surprisingly, Leonard won the challenge. He grabbed a whopping 154 candy corn to be crowned the winner.

Now, the fun challenge was surely a good way of relaxing for the NBA stars. But fans cannot stop trolling Leonard for his prolonged absence .

There is no news when Kawhi Leonard will be able to make a comeback. Thus, the fans got really frustrated when they saw the 33-year-old participate in the corn grab challenge. They immediately took to social media and called out the athlete for his on-court absence.

One fan said, “This going to be the only Kawhi Leonard Clippers highlight for the 6 months, isn’t it?”

Another fan commented, “Bro doing everything but playing basketball.”

A third fan mocked Leonard’s tendency to get injured. The comment read, “Out for 3 weeks with a strained hand.”

This fan made a hilarious comparison with the claw machines at the mall, saying, “His hands work better then the crane at the toy machines.”

A fan asked Leonard to concentrate on his existing injury. The comment read, “He should grab his ankle.”

This fan wrote, “That’s great but when is he returning to the court???”

Yet another fan poked fun at his injury-prone career asking, “How many weeks will he be out following this?”

A fan joked that this will be all the action from Leonard coming this year. The comment read, “Only kawhi highlight we will see all year.”

Thus, with criticisms galore, it will now be interesting to see how Kawhi Leonard can combat his injury and make a triumphant comeback. The Clippers have won two of their five games this season and will face the unbeaten Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night.
