Two New Orleans Saints players were shown together in the worst position possible during Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Saints suffered an embarrassing 26-8 defeat to fall to 2-6 following their positive start to the season.

With scores 16-8 nearing the end of the third quarter, linebackers Willie Gay Jr. and Anfernee Orji were shown together, with the backs of their jerseys reading, you know what…

Anyhoo, check it out in the photo below:

The New Orleans Saints Had Diddy Catching Strays

As you might imagine, the internet had plenty to say about this. And considering its timing, jailed rapper Diddy caught some strays.

“This game brought to you by Diddy Lube!  😂,” a fan joked.

“I’ve never seen a team so easy to make fun of 🤣🤣🤣,” another laughed.

“Accurate assessment of that game,” said a third.

“It’s called the Diddy,” a fourth wrote.

“So a Diddy party…” another user claimed.

“49ers are about to trade Mccaffrey and 3 first round picks for them,” a comment read.

Having begun the season 2-0, the Saints have lost six games on the bounce, with the latest coming against the Chargers this past Sunday.

There have been calls for the head coach, Dennis Allen, to be fired, while fans have been urging a rebuild amid frustrations over the team’s disastrous third-down conversion rate, struggles to gain yardage, and generally poor offense.

Given their record, there have also been suggestions of tanking to secure a top draft pick in 2025.

VIDEO: New Orleans Saints Fan Unleashed The Nicest Form Of Trash-Talk You’ll Ever See On Cowboys Fans During Sunday’s Blowout At AT&T Stadium

A new viral video shows a New Orleans Saints fan performing a rare case of friendly and heartwarming trash talk to Dallas Cowboys supporters during the team’s shocking 44-19 blowout loss at home on Sunday.

The New Orleans Saints came into AT&T Stadium and handed the Cowboys a humiliating 25-point defeat. The victory for New Orleans also marked the end of Dallas’ impressive streak of 16 consecutive regular-season home wins.

X/Twitter user @peyroll shared a hilarious video of a Saints fan using humor to trash talk the stunned and frustrated Dallas fans around him. The fan passionately tells Dallas fans, “Next time it might be your day, but today, it’s not.”

The New Orleans Saints fan then offers his gratitude to the Dallas fans for their “hospitality”, even leading to laughs and smiles from other folks in his section:

Now, is that so difficult? Why can’t fans who cheer for opposing teams at live events just engage in friendly trash talk like that instead of uttering expletives and getting into physical fights?

New Orleans Saints fans packed the outside of AT&T Stadium and threw a celebratory parade after the victory, adding more salt into the wounds for the Cowboys:

It was indeed a letdown of a loss for the Cowboys, who made a statement a week earlier by soundly defeating a quality Cleveland Browns team on the road. It simply was not the home opener that Cowboys fans expected nor envisioned.

The Cowboys welcome Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens to AT&T Stadium in Week 3 on Sunday, while the Saints will try and improve to 3-0 when they host Jalen Hurts’ Philadelphia Eagles.

New Orleans Saints Look Like Bonafide Contenders

Since Drew Brees’ retirement in 2021, the Saints have relied on a good defense, a stout o-line and the likes of Alvin Kamara and Chris Olave to win games. The only thing holding them back was a good quarterback, and Derek Carr is suddenly providing that with new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.

The Saints aren’t going to average 40-plus points a game, but they’ll unquestionably contend for the Super Bowl if Carr can continue to provide above-average QB play.
