Caitlin Clark’s double-double streak has come to an end, yet she played a crucial role in leading the Fever to consecutive wins before the All-Star and Olympic break.
Although she couldn’t surpass her rookie counterpart Angel Reese’s historic 15-game double-double streak, Clark and the Fever managed to secure a comeback victory against the Lynx, winning 81-74 on the road.
Indiana dominated the fourth quarter, outscoring Minnesota 28-14, with Clark’s exceptional passing and an ankle-breaking crossover standing out as highlights.
Indiana handed the Lynx a rare home loss, dropping them to 16-8 overall and 10-3 at home. The Fever improved to 11-14 with one game remaining before the break.
Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell also stood out in Sunday’s matchup. Boston recorded 17 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocks, while Mitchell led all players with 21 points. The All-Star trio combined for 55 of Indiana’s 81 points.
