London Fletcher Played 16 Seasons And Never Missed A Game

Former Washington linebacker London Fletcher is in mourning this week and likely for the remainder of his life after breaking the news that his wife passed away from breast cancer.

They were together for the majority of his career, which spanned 16 years.

Fletcher played for 16 seasons in the National Football League with the St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Redskins.

After four seasons with the Rams, he was a member of the Bills for five seasons and spent his last seven seasons with the Redskins.

London Fletcher was a workhorse who never missed a game due to injury in his career. According to his Wikipedia page, he was one of only five players in NFL history to play in over 250 consecutive games.

By the time he was done playing, he had made four Pro Bowls during his Redskins tenure and won a Super Bowl title with the Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV.

London Fletcher also finished his career with 215 consecutive games started, which ties him for seventh all-time.

In 2022, he was named to the Washington’s Ring of Fame.

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.

The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.

He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.

“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.

“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”
