Josh Allen Issues Strong MVP Statement in Bills Dominant Win vs. Hapless Jets
Josh Allen strengthened his case for the MVP in the Buffalo Bills’ dominant, 40-14, win against the New York Jets.
The Buffalo Bills officially clinched the No. 2 seed in the AFC with a 40-14 win against the New York Jets.
The Bills never trailed as they officially secured their first undefeated season at home since 1990.
After a slow start in the first half, the Bills’ offense exploded in the third quarter, scoring 21 unanswered points.

Once again, MVP contender Josh Allen was dominant in the win. Allen finished the game with 199 total yards, three total touchdowns and no turnovers without even taking a snap in the fourth quarter.

It’s possible that Allen sitting out the final week of the season could have a negative impact on his chances of taking home his first MVP, but regardless, it may be the best move as Buffalo looks to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history.
Buffalo also tied a franchise record with 13 regular season wins with a chance to set a new high in Week 18. Regardless, they’ll be in a great position heading into the postseason.
Looking ahead, the Bills will either face the Denver Broncos, the Miami Dolphins or the Cincinnati Bengals in the Wild Card round.
