Caitlin Clark has a competitive itch that she is getting ready to scratch, but it is in a sport you wouldn’t think to see her.

The Indiana Fever sensation has a massive fan base that is now excited after they realized their beloved basketball player would be competing again in November.

On Wednesday, Clark will be playing golf as part of an LPGA pro-am competition hosted by Annika Sorenstam, which is called “The Annika.”

Golf Channel and the LPGA are expanding their coverage of next week’s tournament as LPGA and tournament social handles are expected to live stream Clark’s warmup on the range at Pelican Golf Club as well as conduct an in-round walk-and-talk interview.

While Caitlin Clark is one of the world’s best basketball players, she will now bring her celebrity status to the LPGA to showcase that she has other talents while simultaneously delivering some insane ratings.

Caitlin Clark’s Celebrity Status Is Causing Networks To Shift Things Just For Her

Caitlin Clark can do no wrong as she gets ready to play some golf next week at a pro-am competition.

According to Josh Carpenter of Sports Business Journal, Golf Channel’s daily news show, “Golf Today,” which usually airs at 12:30 p.m. ET, will move up to 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday to show live look-ins and highlights from Caitlin Clark’s round.

The former Iowa Hawkeye superstar will not only play the front nine with World No. 1 Nelly Korda, but she will then tee it up with tournament host Annika Sorenstam on the back nine.

Sorenstam spoke on her excitement of meeting Clark for the first time and playing with her.

“I’ve watched her, read about her. I’ve had a little communication through social media. But I really don’t think that counts,” Sorenstam said in a pre-tournament press conference on Nov. 1.

“I’m looking forward to spending time with her and getting to know her. She’s just done so much for women’s sport. She’s the hottest thing right now. I’m glad she’ll take some time out of her busy schedule to come out and see what kind of golfer she is.”

Tom Brady may be reined in by FOX Sports following his awkward comment about Matt LaFleur that had the internet in stitches.

The former NFL quarterback called Sunday’s game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions and liked what he saw where Green Bay’s head coach was concerned as he waxed lyrical over the 45-year-old Michigan native.

“Look at that perfect little moustache, goatee that he’s got,” Brady said right before a third-and-three. “We can’t see his hair today. But I was so impressed when I saw him in the tunnel, such a handsome guy. he said he spends $100 a week to keep himself looking like that.”

Kevin Burkhardt, his booth partner, could only offer a “Wow.”
