Caitlin Clark was officially named the WNBA Rookie of the Year.
But it wasn’t unanimous.
The Indiana Fever star received 66 of 67 first-place votes from the electorate.

“I am incredibly honored to be named Rookie of the Year, but more than that, I am grateful to everyone that supported me throughout this past season — my family and friends, my teammates, the Fever organization and everyone that cheered us on all season. I am so proud of what we accomplished and so excited for what the future holds,” Clark said, according to a Fever press release.
Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds for Indiana, which finished 20-20 and made the playoffs for the first time in eight seasons.
The Fever fell to the Sun in two games in the fist round.
Clark recorded the first two triple-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history and set an all-time single-season record with 337 assists.

Her play earned her a spot in the starting lineup at the WNBA All-Star Game in July.
Reese also had an excellent rookie year, making the All-Star team while averaging 13.6 points and a league-leading 13.1 rebounds before a season-ending injury. Most, however, felt Clark had distanced herself, given the strides she and the Fever made during the season.
The WNBA’s award differs from the AP awards that came out last week, when Clark won Rookie of the Year unanimously.
The search to find who voted for Reese quickly began on social media.
Some voters have already come out and said they are not the individual who chose Reese over Clark.

“Just so we’re clear… it wasn’t me,” Terrika Foster-Brasby wrote on X. “I voted for CC. So don’t blow me up or call me a hater cause IT WASNT TERRIKA.”
WNBA reporter Khristina Williams also confirmed she did not cast her vote for Reese.
“I had Caitlin Clark on my ballot for Rookie of the Year,” she wrote on X.
