Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett fueled his mini beef with TJ Watt by calling out the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive end after ‘Thursday Night Football.’

Myles Garrett led the Browns to a stunning 24-19 home win over the surging Steelers in the snow-filled affair. Garrett recorded three of Cleveland’s four sacks in the win, bringing his season total to 10.

After leading Cleveland to a much-needed win in prime time, Garrett took a shot at the 2021 Defensive Player of the Year in his post-game interview.

“I’m number one….edge one to Defensive Player of the Year,” Myles Garrett said. “I’m the guy. That runs through me….I’m going to find a way.’

TJ Watt expressed shock when Garrett was named the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year over him, tweeting, “Nothing I’m not used to.” Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Garrett stated that Watt owes him an apology.

Watt won Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2021, but many were stunned when Garrett won the award over him in 2023. Watt had 19 sacks (tops in football) and eight pass defenses, while Garrett had 14 sacks and three pass defenses.

Myles Garrett & TJ Watt Meet Again In Week 14

Fortunately for football fans who love the Browns-Steelers rivalry, they won’t have to wait much longer for the next meeting. The Steelers and Browns will square off again at Acrisure Stadium in Week 14 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

The Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers Face Off On Thursday Night Football to start Week 12 of the NFL season.

Unfortunately, like most games this season, the game will not end without controversy, and many think it is fixed in favor of the Browns.

The first noncall came on a pass to Steelers wide receiver George Pickens. It came as Picken ran a streak route, looking for a big gain.

Browns cornerback Martin Emerson Jr. made clear contact as the ball came in, yet there was no pass interference call.

You could argue that it was more of a case of feet getting tangled up, but these instances warrant a flag all the time and now should have been no different.

The more egregious call helped Cleveland out while they were on offense, eventually resulting in a touchdown.

It came on a completed catch to wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. The only problem is that he should have been called for the “hands to the face” penalty as he was seen grabbing the facemask of corner Joey Porter Jr.

Unfortunately, for any Browns fan trying to justify no flag on this play, you will end up sounding foolish.

Everyone Is Calling Out These refs For The Non-Calls During Browns vs. Steelers

If you have watched any NFL game this year, there is a strong chance you might feel like the referees had a strong outcome of the game.

It’s becoming much more common than in years past, so people are becoming more vocal about the problem, especially the faithful Steelers fans.
