Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes refuse to be part of Chiefs WAG reality show

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes will not be a part of the Kansas City Chiefs‘ upcoming documentary following the lives of the wives and girlfriends of the team, despite dating the two most prominent players.

Swift, arguably the biggest music artist in the world at the moment, is constantly snapped and followed by cameras across the United States and the globe despite valuing her private life highly.

So when the new documentary airs on Bravo, she will not be spotted as Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend seeks to avoid even more video cameras hanging over her shoulder or being thrust in her face as she embarks on her record-breaking Eras Tour.

Taylor and Brittany are not part of the show at all,” a source told PEOPLE. “And will not even be filmed.

Taylor especially is very protective of what little private life she has left. She enjoys all the ladies she’s met, but she will not be a part of Bravo’s storyline.”

Swift has been dating the team’s tight end since approximately August 2023 and her presence has boosted the footballer to an entirely new level of fame as well as bringing a reported $400m worth of extra revenue to the NFL.

So as Swifties begin to embrace the sport, the league looks to cash in on her star power and she is regularly spotted on the television screen when she heads to the Arrowhead Stadium or elsewhere to support her man as he bids to become a four-time super Bowl champion.

Who will be in the show?

Whilst the Kansas City Chiefs have dominated the NFL since the 2019 season, a lot isn’t actually known about the women behind the players’ successes except for Swift, who was already a global superstar prior to dating Kelce.

So with lots of storylines to uncover and lots of footage and interviews to choose to make the final cut, the show is still very much a work in progress.

“There’s still lots to figure out,” the source added. “Including who would be a part of the final cast and whether there’s enough there to build a full series around. It’s very much a work in progress.”

But early door predictions tip the partners of Mecole Hardman Jr. (Chariah Gordon) and Chris Jones (Sheawna Weathersby), who have been hanging out with Swift lately, to star in the production.

“The action is all centered around Chariah and Sheawna and their group of friends,” another source told PEOPLE. “Who all know the struggles of being partners to these workaholic athletes.”
