Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is in for plenty of criticism this week following yet another loss on the back of his mega-deal with the team.
America’s Team suffered a loss at the hands of NFC rivals San Francisco on Sunday night, though they put themselves in a position to fight back from a 17-point deficit at the end and got the ball back with 3:05 left in the game while down by a single score.
That drive turned out to be a disaster, with Prescott nearly throwing an interception on first down. He was forced to throw the ball away on second down as 49ers defensive lineman Maliek Collins barged at him.
The Cowboys failed to move the chains on the play, let alone score.
NBC’s Cris Collinsworth was pretty critical of Dak thereafter, claiming the quarterback isn’t the player he used to be.
“I’ll tell you, Dak just doesn’t move like he used to. He really doesn’t,” Colinsworth told partner Mike Tirico. “There have been times we’ve seen him, pre-injury, that he was able to take that ball and make some runs out of it.

“That’s not really a factor in his game anymore.”
Dak Prescott Isn’t Quite Himself This Season
Collinsworth does make a good point. Dak had some injury problems during the offseason and was seen in a walking boot at times.
The Cowboys signal-caller averaged 3.6 rush attempts for 16.3 yards per game over the first eight years of his career, but he hasn’t scrambled more than twice a game this season and hasn’t gotten past 12 yards.
There was genuine optimism nearing the end of the fourth quarter of last night’s game, given that the Cowboys had managed to cut the lead down to six and got the ball back with plenty of time left on the clock.
Unfortunately, they wouldn’t get another opportunity as the defense did not leave the field after the failed drive.
VIDEO: Someone Used AI To Make NFL QBs Look Like “Game Of Thrones” Characters, And They Did Dak Prescott So Dirty

Recently, one NFL team used AI to transform some prominent quarterbacks into “Game of Thrones” characters, which produced some very interesting images, but everyone was left talking about Dak Prescott.
It’s not even that he looks horrible in it; it’s more that he resembles a very popular NBA player rather than himself. People noticed he looked very off, and everyone else was relatively normal.
Social media immediately started joking about Prescott’s appearance.
“That’s not Dak that’s Russell Westbrook,” said one comment.
“Dak made me laugh out loud!!” said another.

“Dak look like a peasant,” added a third.
“Got Dak looking like Ishmael,” continued a fourth.
These AI videos have become pretty common and rarely is there at least one person in them who looks a bit off.
However, it’s also a bit crazy that technology has gone so far that these images can look so realistic and follow them so closely.
Dak Prescott has Not Played Up To His Price Tag
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is currently the highest paid at his position, making $60 million annually.
Of course, when you pay someone that much, you expect them to perform at the highest level.
Prescott ranks twelfth in passing yards, ninth in completions, twenty-fourth in completion percentage, fifteenth in passing touchdowns, and twenty-third in quarterback rating.
His less-than-elite play has also directly affected the rest of the offense’s productivity. Last year, in 2023, the Cowboys were one of the most explosive units in the league.
They have taken a step back, with just the twentieth-most points per game. Dallas currently sits third in the NFC with a mediocre 3-3 record, which has not put them in a good place to make a push for the playoffs.
