The NFL has been reviewing the case of San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa ever since he crashed an NBC postgame interview on Sunday night and pointed to the “Make America Great Again” cap he wore.

Bosa won’t be suspended for what he did, but he surely will face a fine.

Robert Griffin III seems to think the NFL should absolutely hand that down to him.

This week, the former NFL quarterback took to social media and stated, “Yes, Nick Bosa will get fined for wearing that hat.”

“And whether you like it or not, he should! Nick Bosa can vote for who he wants, wear what he wants and speak on whatever he wants. But Nick Bosa also has to be prepared for the backlash for expressing his political views and the fine that will come. And trust me, this is coming from experience.”

Robert Griffin then remembered a situation when he wore a ‘Know Jesus, Know Peace’ shirt to a press conference after a game.

He stated he was informed he would be fined for wearing a message that the NFL did not approve.

To protest that, Griffin stated he wore the shirt inside out.

The fine Nick Bosa will receive and the one Griffin would have received are within the NFL rulebook’s Rule 5, Section 4, Article 8.

The rule states, “Players are prohibited from wearing, displaying, or otherwise conveying personal messages either in writing or illustration unless such message has been approved in advance by the league office.”

As we all saw, Nick Bosa wore his MAGA hat on game day, while visible to the stadium and TV audience.

The evidence is clear-cut, right there on videotape.

Nick Bosa Sidestepped Questions About Rocking MAGA Hat

Nick Bosa, a powerhouse defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers, is well-known for his skills on the field, but he has been talked about for being a Trump supporter off the field.

The 49ers defensive end crashed a postgame interview while wearing a “MAGA” hat. In the process, he broke an NFL rule.

Bosa sidestepped a question related to Donald Trump on Sunday night after the 49ers pass-rusher made a political statement.

‘I’m not gonna talk too much about it, but I think it’s an important time,’ he said.

Nick Bosa was then asked if he had been tempted in the past to speak more about his political beliefs.

‘It’s definitely a little easier nowadays, but no, I don’t feel too inclined to do that,’ he said.

‘It’s just a different climate.’
