The NFL is back, and so is all the absurdity that comes with it. The league kicked things off with a Ravens-Chiefs fixture on Thursday night, which did not lack for entertainment.

The Chiefs, who played at their Arrowhead Stadium, held on for a 27-20 win, with the Ravens coming just short. Lamar Jackson managed to find Isaiah Likely in the end zone for a late score, but it got ruled out after the officials rightly determined that the tight end had a toe on the line when he landed after making the catch.

Fans didn’t appreciate the way the game began, with several flags thrown in the opening minutes, but they gradually grew into it as the entertainment factor kicked in.

At one point, a graphic resembling something we don’t need to describe popped up and eventually found its way to social media.

Check it out in the photo below:

Fans Were Stunned By Odd Ravens-Chiefs Graphic

Fans couldn’t believe such doodling was actually shown on television, with NBC’s Cris Collinsworth being blamed for it.

“Is this real?” one fan asked.

“Cringe Collinsworth,” another wrote.

“Nah that’s crazy 😭,” said a third.

“Cris Collinsworth wasting no time 😂,” someone joked.

“No wonder Derrick Henry is having a hard time running the ball,” a user added.

“That doesnt look like a c**k if thats what ur hinting at,” one fan claimed.

Well, it’s not the first time, and it won’t be the last. Even weather reporters make such gaffes from time to time. Give poor Cris a break.

Social Media Is Pissed Off After Skip Bayless Claims LeBron James Shouldn’t Have Won MVP Over Stephen Curry

The 2024 Paris Olympics was Stephen Curry’s first ever appearance in the Paris Olympics. The Golden State Warriors star poured so much athleticism into his first appearance on the international stage that caught everyone’s attention, including popular NBA analyst Skip Bayless.

After Team USA’s 98-87 victory over France in the Olympics final, LeBron James was crowned with the MVP title of the tournament. Soon after that, Bayless stirred controversy by posting on social media that LeBron should not win the MVP title. Rather, the sports analyst sees Curry as the real winner of the title.

I’M SORRY, NOW THERE’S NO WAY LEBRON IS MVP. IT HAS TO BE STEPH. 17 THREES IN THE SEMI AND THE FINAL. WE WOULD NOT HAVE WON EITHER WITHOUT HIM,” Bayless wrote in an X post.

Curry scored 24 points in the final game against France. With his outstanding shooting skills, the Warriors star hit eight three-pointers, three of which came in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. On the other hand, James contributed 14 points and 10 assists and shot an impressive 60% from the field.
