Simone Biles was at Soldier Field on Sunday, and it was a good thing she was because she witnessed her husband, Jonathan Owens, honoring her.
Owens is in his first season with the Chicago Bears after spending his previous two seasons in Green Bay with the Packers.
His name was buzzing on Sunday after Vikings running back Aaron Jones took a handoff from Sam Darnold at the one-yard line, but Owens stiffed him at the line. He caused the ball to come loose as he ripped it out of his hands and recovered the very fumble he forced.
He and his Bears teammates celebrated together, but he wanted a moment for himself that honored his wife in the stands.
Owens celebrated by posing in a gymnast style after they stick landings, which is something Simone Biles does all the time.

Owens had another huge moment earlier in the year when he blocked a punt and returned it for a touchdown. After that play, Simone Biles took to her X account and stated that she “almost had a heart attack.”
Unfortunately, despite Jonathan Owens finishing the game with eight tackles and that fumble recovery, the Vikings defeated the Bears in overtime, 30-27.
Simone Biles Loved Jonathan Owens’s Olympic Celebration
The Minnesota Vikings were ready to take an early lead against the Bears on Sunday as they were set up on a second and goal from the one.
Sam Darnold handed the ball to Aaron Jones, who ran it up the middle and was hit by DeMarcus Walker. Once he bounced off him, Jonathan Owens came in to rip the football away before he touched the ground.
To celebrate, Owens ran to the back of the end zone and performed a gymnastics celebration, raising his arms like his wife, Simone Biles.
Sitting in a box high above the field, Biles could be seen going insane over it.

Simone Biles attended husband Jonathan Owens’ Chicago Bears football game against the Minnesota Vikings.
She came to Soldier Field in her custom outfit that had her husband’s name on it.
Both had quite the moment following a dynamic play on the field.
On Sunday, Jonathan Owens stopped Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones from reaching the end zone.
Owens gathered his Bears teammates in the end zone to celebrate the turnover and mimed Biles’ signature landing pose.
In the stands, cameras caught Simone Biles losing her mind as she threw her hands in the air.

The Bears are 4-6 going into Sunday’s game at Solider Field, a record that has them at the bottom of the NFC North.
So far, Jonathan Owens has three tackles on the day.
It’s not exactly a good year to be a fan of the Bears.
Simone Biles Has Had Much To Cheer About In 2024
Unlike the Chicago Bears, Simone Biles has had much to cheer about in 2024.
Biles wowed fans earlier this week with her red-carpet appearance at the CMAs, which she attended without Owens.
Just a few months ago, Biles won Olympic gold in the team final, all-around final, and vault final, and silver in the floor final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
