Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had a record-breaking night against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, running for 255 yards (a career high) and two touchdowns that helped the Birds soar to a decisive 37-20 victory.
Barkley stood on the sideline of SoFi Stadium, smiling from ear to ear as the Eagles’ new single-game rushing record holder.
He had no clue until he was told.
The first thing he wanted to know was if a staff member had the football.
That is when he got depressing news.
Cameras caught Saquon Barkley asking, “Do you have that ball?”
The staff member reminded him, “You gave it away.”
