The Dallas Cowboys collectively held their breath when Micah Parsons suffered an ankle injury against the Giants.
The Dallas Cowboys defense has had a tumultuous couple of weeks. They have been getting gashed on the ground in home losses against the New Orleans Saints and the Baltimore Ravens.
Although they won a game against the Giants, three-time All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons had to be carted from the sidelines after suffering an apparent lower left leg injury while diving to knock away a pass intended for wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson.
The Cowboys star defender underwent an MRI on Friday to determine the severity of his ankle injury, and NFL Media later reported that he sustained a high-ankle sprain.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Parsons will be sidelined for at least 7 to 10 days before he is re-evaluated to set a timeline for his return.
That means he is unlikely to be available for their next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The team could very well be under .500 if things do not go right without Micah Parsons.
Mike McCarthy, Cowboys Preparing For Life Without Micah Parsons
The Cowboys’ win over the New York Giants falls into a bad win since they lost so much.
Dallas got the win, and it desperately needed to return to .500, but pass rusher Micah Parsons suffered a high ankle sprain.
Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence is also dealing with a mid-foot sprain.
Head coach Mike McCarthy did say he thinks both Parsons and Lawrence and “definitely” be back at some point in the 2024 season.
Former NFL Quarterback Brett Favre Lashes Out At Taylor Swift, Accuses Her Of Using Her “Influence” For Foul Reasons

Former NFL star quarterback Brett Favre has taken a swipe at pop sensation Taylor Swift for political reasons ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential elections.
The 11-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro is known to be a supporter of former President Donald Trump and has previously endorsed him.
He’s since taken a shot at Swift, who recently endorsed Democratic candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris following Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes informing everyone that he wouldn’t endorse a candidate.
“Good take by Mahomes,” he wrote in a tweet.
“I see a lot of celebs trying to influence their audience instead of letting the people think for themselves. If the best choice for them ain’t clear and they’re easily swayed by their fav pop artist, it’s not going to be a good thing.”
