Following the presidential debate debacle that unfolded late last month, Joe Biden is continuing to display signs of declining mental and physical health.  Such demonstrations of his advanced age are problematic for the Biden campaign as it attempts to recover ground and reinstill faith among the Democratic Party and American voters that the president is fit to serve as the commander-in-chief.

Before the debate, President Biden spent the week at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, preparing for his head-to-head discussion with former President Donald Trump, where he had his schedule cleared until the event.  However, footage of Biden arriving at the retreat appeared to foreshadow what would unfold on the debate stage.

According to RNC Research, an account run by the Republican National Committee that has consistently raised concerns regarding President Biden’s health shared a clip of Biden exiting his presidential aircraft.  The caption read, “Biden arrives at Camp David, where he’ll be holed away — and heavily doped up — ahead of the debate. He has zero public events on his schedule until Thursday.”

The video shows Biden descending the stairs of Air Force One, seemingly with incredible difficulty.  Upon reaching the runway, Biden gave a salute to the military servicemen standing alongside the aircraft and shuffled toward Marine One.  However, Biden’s movements across the landing strip appeared very rigid, with minimal arm swing where he took small steps.

Conservative X user Glockford Files illustrated that Biden’s declining health is beyond apparent at this point.  He further drew on speculation that Obama is influencing the Democratic politics behind the scenes.  “Joe Biden struggles to walk from the plane to the helicopter. His steep mental and physical decline is on full display for the whole world to see everyday. Will Obama install a new Marxist puppet to replace Joe?” he wrote.

Following the debate, there was a panic among Democrats in the mainstream media as they came to the realization that Biden may not be a viable nominee.  The American Tribune recently reported on comments from House Speaker Mike Johnson, who discussed calls to invoke the 25th Amendment to have President Biden removed from office in light of his apparent cognitive state.

“Everyone here on Capitol Hill is talking about the debate last night, as I know all of you are, and everyone is around the country. It was a stark display, a big contrast between the two candidates for president. I think what everybody has seen now with their own two eyes, what they’ve all witnessed in an almost surprising fashion,” the House speaker said, commenting on the debate.  Watch Biden’s seeming struggle when exiting Air Force 1:

Johnson highlighted the consequences of having a U.S. President with diminished mental faculties.  “There’s a lot of people asking about the 25th invoking the 25th amendment right now, because this is an alarming situation. As I mentioned, our adversaries see the weakness in this White House as we all do. I take no pleasure in saying that. I think this is a very dangerous situation. But you know, unfortunately, it’s not that the house that gets to determine that it’s the cabinet under the Constitution, of course, it’s the cabinet that makes that decision,” he added.   Johnson ultimately called on Biden’s cabinet to honestly assess whether he is fit to serve.
