Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce live their romance in the full glare of the world’s media.

But like any partnership, singing icon Swift and NFL superstar Kelce know that they need to keep things fresh.

It’s been a whirlwind summer for the pair, with Kelce trying to spend as much time with Swift as possible despite her being in Europe on her Eras Tour.

Kelce caught up with her at a number of concerts and even made an appearance on stage at Wembley Stadium in London.

But now there’s a feeling of things returning to the routine, especially with Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs about to kick off for a new season.

“Taylor and Travis’ summer of love is over and now they’re having to adjust to being long distance lovers once again,” a source is quoted as saying by the Life & Style magazine.

“He’s back on the field and she’s continuing her tour, but they have a plan, and some rules, on how they’ll keep their relationship fresh.

“They’re not nervous about their romance getting stale. In fact, they’re very confident in what they have.

“They plan on doing FaceTime daily and will continue to fly out to see each other when their schedules open up.

“Romantic dates are a must, even if it’s just for a few hours. Either at out-of-the-way restaurants or holed in their hotel room with room service or their favorite takeout.

“Taylor and Travis have perfected staying connected regardless of their busy lifestyles, proving that nothing, especially distance, can keep them apart.”

Kelce meanwhile insists that despite juggling so many commitments, he is still fully focused on football.

The Chiefs begin their season against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead on Thursday night.

Ahead of the game, Kelce was asked by reporters how he maintained that focus on the sport.

“I just love coming in here, man,” Kelce said.

“I mentioned that St. Joe [the Chiefs preseason training camp] is my sanctuary.

“I just love football. It takes me away from life and gives me something I can be genuinely happy about.

“I enjoy coming in the building and working on my craft, getting to understand a new game plan and perfecting that with people around me.

“It gives me a purpose to go about my day and live my life.

“I have so much excitement doing it. It’s going to be hard to know when to call it quits or not.”

The game between the Chiefs and Ravens will be shown live across the United States by NBC.

The Chiefs will aim to become the first team in NFL history to win three Super Bowls in a row.
